Sanchez happy to leave future to agent

The Chile international has yet to discuss an extension at the Emirates Stadium, with his current contract entering its final year.

Manchester City and Bayern Munich have been heavily linked with a move for Sanchez, despite Gunners boss Arsene Wenger maintaining that his star player is not for sale.

The 28-year-old is currently on international duty to prepare for the eight-nation tournament staged by the 2018 World Cup hosts, and has instructed his representative, Fernando Felicevich, to deal with his future.

"I'm looking at what my agent is doing," Sanchez told Cooperativa. "For now, I'm focused on the [Confederations] Cup in Russia and trying to do well.

"The truth is that my agent will see to it. He knows and he will sit down with the club to look for the best option for me. I'd like a lot of things but I'm only thinking about the national team."
