How Fibromyalgia is Different than Muscular Pain and Treatment

Most of the clients coming to my husband for consultation about a muscle pain come out diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.

This condition is very unpleasant to have and leads to pain throughout your whole body. What follows is troubles sleeping, remembering things, and mood swings.
Before I look deeply inside this condition, it’s important for me to let you know that this condition is still not fully understood.

Medical researchers have a definition for this condition. They say that something messes up in your brain and causes it to overreact to minor signals from the nerves in the entire body.
The exact reason for this is unknown, but they are positive that stress, hormones, physical trauma or bacterial infections could trigger it.

Everyone. Nobody is safe from this disease. People of any age, race, or gender.

Most of the individuals who have this condition develop it sometimes in middle age. Noticing it in kids or teenagers is rare, but it could happen.
It’s most common among women. Rough calculations show that 9 out of 10 people who are suffering from this condition are female.
Female hormones are more prone to fibromyalgia. People with rheumatic diseases like lupus are more likely to develop this condition.
In the end, individuals who have a history in their family with fibromyalgia are more apt to get it in their life.

Primary Symptoms:

The most common symptom that gives the first possible clue of Fibromyalgia is a widespread pain.
Have you ever heard someone say that she feels like her body hurts so much that she will collapse?
This pain is constant and spreads through the body. Some women even feel tender points where a bigger pain is felt if you apply pressure.

Even if they sleep a lot, people with this condition are often fatigued because the pain makes it harder for them to sleep peacefully.

What’s the difference between Fibromyalgia Pain and Muscle Pain?

People have a lot of trouble to determine whether they are suffering from fibromyalgia or pure muscle pain caused by a muscle strain or other issue.
The fibromyalgia is constant and more widespread pain than the other types of pain.
It occurs simultaneously on the left and right side of the body and both above and bellow the waist.
The pain caused by a specific injury is felt only on that particular part of your body.
