Several homes burned in Flathead County wildfire

Firefighters are on the scene of a wildland fire in Evergreen.
Flathead County Undersheriff Dave Lieb said at least five structures have burned in the area.
At least five homes have been evacuated but we don't know yet if anyone has been injured.
Fire crews responding include the the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC), as well as fire departments from Whitefish, Columbia Falls and Evergreen.
The homeowner told our reporter that he believes his cigarette sparked the fire. He said he thought he put it out, but when he came back outside he saw the fire.
A helicopter is reportedly dropping water on the fire.
