Couple with 5 kids meets 6 siblings who are about to be separated, adopts them all

Unfortunately, not every child comes in a situation where he or she is loved by their parents. Luckily, many children find a warm new home again thanks to a foster care program, but there is still plenty of stress involved as they often have to move from home to home.

Aside from that, one of the hardest things for these kids is that siblings are often separated. This family of six siblings in foster care feared that they would be sent to different homes and wouldn’t be able to stick together. However, one loving family didn’t want that to happen to them at all.

Meet the Sanders family from Forest Park, Illinois. The loving couple Christopher and Christina already have five biological children of their own, but they decided to adopt the set of six siblings so that they wouldn’t need to be separated from each other.

We just a made an agreement that whoever we’d get, we would keep them, and you know, not settle for different houses.

The judge that was responsible for the adoption hearing himself had never seen something like this in the two years that he’s been working there, and called the adoption unprecedented. This act of love by the Sanders family definitely is heartwarmingly amazing.

The family of thirteen gets along really well, as the adopted and biological siblings love being around each other. The siblings have been playing sports together and two of the new sisters showed up in the courtroom with matching clothes.

Unfortunately, the Sanders family has received concerns from their environment because the adopted children don’t have the same skin color as their biological kids. Christopher’s response, however, can’t be any truer.

God says we are all the same.

It wasn’t only the parents did something amazing, the same can be said for the adopted children as well. The Sanders had a tradition that their children’s names would start with a ‘C’. To keep the tradition alive and to show Christopher and Christina that they truly felt home, they requested their case worker to change their names.

Thanks to this loving family, Coby, Christian, Caleb, Caylee, Carson and Chloe have now found a new and warm home.

Doctor Catherine Pearlman from Long Island, New York, has a 13-year-old daughter which has received multiple warnings about the way that she dresses. She didn’t wear anything disturbing, or hurtful – she just wore shorts that were a couple of inches too short according to the principal.

The school banned shorts that were shorter than the fingers when worn, but as you’d expect, this would cause issues for girls who are taller and doesn’t really make it fair for everyone based on their genetics.

When Catherine heard that her daughter was ‘dress coded’ two days in a row by the school administration, she finally had enough of it. Especially considering the school would put her in detention if she wore the shorts one more time and to make things even worse, the school policy didn’t even have information or a clause about a certain dress code.

Catherine’s daughter doesn’t like wearing pants, as she tends to get overheated in them and won’t wear any dresses either. Her rather large limbs make it difficult for them to find clothes that fit properly.

Immediately, Catherine wrote a striking letter to the school’s principal which quickly went viral. She wrote it with a cynical (and sometimes even downright funny) undertone, but the message behind the letter is certainly noticeable. You can read Catherine’s full message to the principal below.

Dear Middle School Principal:

Thank you for sending a note home for the second day in a row to say my daughter was dressed inappropriately for school. I’d like to offer an additional thank you for forcing her to change into large mesh shorts that have been worn by only god knows who and potentially never washed.

To reward you for treating my daughter with such concern, I am cordially inviting you to take my daughter shopping.

Here are the specifications you have to work with. I wish you loads of luck.

She is 5’7” and 13 years old. Built more like her father, she has exceptionally long legs and arms.

She doesn’t like anything pink or purple or frilly.

She won’t wear pants because she gets overheated easily. Trust me I’ve seen this. It will cause a scene in the school yard.

She absolutely will not wear a dress either.

No item of clothing can have a logo visible because to her that’s not cool. She will however, wear any type of superhero, Green Day or USFL T-shirt if you can find them. You might be able to try for an occasional Beatles reference but that’s touch and go.

Now, don’t forget that you will have to find something in the stores that also meets with yourdress code requirements. Here are the tricky areas that are most difficult to avoid. As per your policy she cannot wear tank tops. Shorts and skirts must not extend to the end of the fingertips (This is a toughie.)

So, if I were you (and I’m glad I’m not) I’d focus on the shorts first. She has very long fingers which seems to make finding shorts that won’t get her sent to the principal’s office impossible (On the bright side the piano teacher says those fingers are an asset.). I’d schedule a few afternoons and weekends for this endeavor. I can tell you from experience that just heading to the mall, Target and the outlets won’t cut it. Not much for her there. I’ve already checked.

One last point: please try to stay within a reasonable budget. We can’t spend a fortune on her wardrobe. She is still growing after all.

I thank you endlessly for taking on this chore. What a relief for me.

P.S. I forgot to thank you for making it clear to my daughter that her body is somehow a distraction, either to herself or to the boys. I thought she might have missed the message earlier in the year when the gym teacher told her she couldn’t wear yoga pants because the boys aren’t able to control themselves. Teen spots a sinking car in a river, immediately dives in to rescue its 60-year-old passenger

Callahan Rooney, a high school senior from Clarksburg, was just driving to a Halloween party from Delta High School. He was cruising alongside the Sacramento River on his way to school but suddenly spotted something weird in the river.

When the 16-year-old realized it was actually a car that had fallen into the water, he didn’t hesitate for a second and jumped in to see if someone was still inside and if he could help.

“I noticed a car in the water,” he said in a video item for FOX 40 News. “There was a lady in the car.”

Despite having plans to go to a Halloween party, this accident truly was the scare of the night. He noticed that the car was slowly sinking and that the woman who was driving wasn’t able to get herself free and was trapped behind the wheel.

It’s unclear how the woman ended up in the river in the first place, but thanks to the quick intervention of Callahan she quickly recovered and is now doing fine.

“As her car sank, I dove underwater, and I grabbed her arm and pulled her out of her car, swam her out to shore with her head above surface, because she was pretty unresponsive.”

Moments after the woman was saved by the brave teen, the local highway patrol arrived together with an ambulance. The woman was transferred to a medical facility.

Callahan’s courageous efforts were rewarded by the woman’s family with dinner and a nice $500 check, but Callahan himself says he only did the right thing. Clarksburg Highway Patrol also awarded Callaham with a certificate of community service.

Couple prays before meal – Woman takes picture when she sees ‘Together We Serve’ on their arms

When Michelle Torino-Barcelos sat down to eat at McAlister’s Deli, she decided to snap a few photos. She wasn’t, however, trying to Instagram photos of her meal. Michelle was secretly photographing a man eating across from her.

While Michelle was eating dinner with her husband, she became infatuated with the man’s tattoo that read “Together We Serve” with a holy cross next to it.

“I told my husband to discretely look at his tattoo, and see how beautiful its meaning is,” Michelle wrote in a post published on the Love What Matters Facebook page. “I told my husband, it can have double meanings. The word “we” may mean as we, as a whole serving God, or “we” can also mean him, together with his other half; it can be his girlfriend or his wife.”

It wasn’t long before a woman came and sat down with the tattooed man. Michelle noticed that she had the same tattoo as she did.

“I thought, it was like the sweetest thing ever that I saw from a couple, having that same kind of tattoo written on their arms! I was thinking, #RelationshipGoals!” Michelle wrote.

As if that wasn’t enough, the couple became even more adorable to Michelle after they held hands and prayed over their meal before eating.

“I was blown away! Not only by seeing how sweet they were but by just simply being bold enough in professing their faith in public,” Michelle said.

Michelle was basically stalking the couple with her eyes and decided that she would go talk to him.

“So I told my husband, that as soon as we finished eating, I would love to come to the couple and approach them,” Michelle explained. “Just to say that we were blessed and inspired by just looking at them, their tattoo, and their faith and love for God. And I did!”

Michelle found out that the couple was wed a few months prior and that they both worked for the United States Army.

“In my heart, not only that they want to serve the country together, they also want to serve God together, and that is what their tattoo really means,” Michelle concluded. “And that is the best #RelationshipGoal ever!”

The couple ended up blowing Michelle’s time for the third time after they asked if they could pray for Michelle and her husband. The two couples all held hands, bowed their heads and prayed together.

Dad pranks daughters and asks them to buy ‘blinker fluid’ – They have no idea it doesn’t exist!

It’s no secret that the phenomenon of ‘dad jokes’ is irresistibly funny, well, for the dads at least. It was April 1st, and one father was driving around with his two daughters.

Because it was a special day, the dad thought it’d be hilarious to pull a prank on his daughters. They stopped by a car store with all sorts of auto parts and while he was waiting in the parking lot, he gave his daughters a coupon and asked to buy a couple of things for his car.

He requested some blinker fluid (for the brake lights), and also wanted them to get a bucket of steam. Now as you know, those things don’t exactly exist. The daughters may have looked a bit weird when they heard their dad’s request, but went ahead into the store to grab the things anyway.

The dad filmed the entire moment afterward and posted their hilarious reaction online. One of the daughters kept pushing to get the blinker fluid, as she thought it existed because of the coupon. However, the store clerk kept laughing saying it simply wasn’t real.
