I have announced that sugar is my biggest enemy and the feelings are mutual.
My husband has quit eating salad dressings because of me. Yesterday I found him eating a salad with a dressing in front of the TV. I asked him what is he doing and where did he find this dressing.
This was his time to shine.
He was messing with me for 20 minutes that he bought the dressing from the store and it was healthy. At least, the label on the dressing was saying that this dressing was healthy.
I couldn’t believe that I’m hearing this from him. The fitness instructor who has been living a healthy lifestyle his whole life.
Something was “fishy” around his decision and when I got really nervous, he said to me:
“Take it easy, I made it myself. You can find the recipe in the second drawer in the kitchen.”
He was laughing for half an hour after this.I’ll give him credit for this one, but I will get back at him harder than he can imagine.
So, here is the healthy recipe my husband found.
Ingredients:
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 slices ginger
- 1 lemon (juiced)
- ½ cup olive oil
Instructions:
- Chop the garlic and grate the ginger
- Place them in a glass bowl and add the olive oil and lemon juice
- Mix well
- Top the salad
- Enjoy!
